Boomarks for sea lovers

This is the time for lovely drizzles, caressing winds and heavy downpours. With the North-east monsoon setting in followed by a string of storms, we are in for a wet spell. Caught frequently in the rain, sometimes running for shelter and at times enjoying a good drenching, I am enjoying myself Tribute to this season, here comes my latest set of bookmarks featuring marine life.

Black Beauty

Black…, Darkest of colours, devoid of light,
Looking empty but full within.
Made of colours one by one,
From which begins all and ends everything.

 

Black and white – two contrating colour pairs that compliment each other to form a perfect pair. Be it home decor or art or design, this colour combination works perfect anytime.

This is one of the compelling reasons to try charcoal sketching. Rough and dark… charcoals would have been mankind’s earliest medium for arts. My maiden attempts at charcoal sketching.
